This is Rev. Winton's second career. For many years she was in the business world selling home, car and business insurance in Ontario. In her early 50's while at Northminster United Church in Oshawa, ON, she answered the call to the ministry. She took her training at Trent University then Queen's Theological College. While at Queens she worked half time at small rural churches in Ontario. She interned at St. Andrew's United Church in Truro, was ordained in 2005, and began fulltime ministry in Noel, N.S. The Noel and Maitland Pastoral Charges are now merged and a new minister has been called there. Linda started her ministry with West Cornwallis Pastoral Charge on July 1, 2008. Rev.
