The Valley Presbytery of the United Church of Canada has accepted the JNAC report and declared a vacancy for a pastor in the West Cornwallis Pastoral Charge. The search committee is being formed at present.

The JNAC has begun its work. Committee members are
- from Trinity Congregation: Carolina Tucker and Valerie Simmons
- from Berwick Congregation: Pat Layton and Edith Menzies
- from Presbytery: Rev. Wayne Mitton and Amanda Nash
